Orange_Julius_Oppenheimer: "Now, I am become death, the destroyer of worlds" It's truly amazing, how far this world has come. Just several centuries ago, the Natives were defending their tribes on this very land with no more than sticks and stones. Now Americans are harnessing the power of the atom, the basic unit of creation, to achieve a rather similar effect. I have mixed emotions over what I have just created. In one way, I am full of hope for the future of Nuclear power, being able to give power to all corners of the earth. On the other hand, I am truly fearful of the weapons that will be created from my research. Just with our primary research, one bomb can take out a whole city, leaving only death in its path. Who knows where these weapons will go from here. If we aren't careful, my experiments may lead to the beginning of the end for us all. (Garrett B.)
